Anaheim · Virtual IOP
Virtual IOP delivers our full Intensive Outpatient curriculum to Anaheim residents over secure video — the same clinicians, the same evening groups, attended from home. For a city whose economy runs on shift work and whose distance from our Laguna Hills office means a 30-to-40-minute I-5 commute in real traffic, the virtual track is often the difference between getting care and putting it off indefinitely.

Virtual IOP is the same IOP curriculum delivered via secure video for California residents. It runs 3 evenings/week via secure video, and is one of four levels of care we offer along a continuum from full-day PHP down to weekly aftercare.
Anaheim sits about 23 miles north of us, and for an hourly worker in the Resort District or a parent juggling extended-family obligations on the west side, a daily drive down the Santa Ana Freeway is exactly the kind of friction that ends treatment early. Virtual IOP removes the commute entirely: a hotel worker between shifts, a manufacturing employee in the Platinum Triangle, or an Anaheim Hills professional with no daytime flexibility can all attend the same evening groups from a kitchen table or a quiet room at home.
Virtual IOP follows the same structure as our in-person program — three evenings per week over secure, HIPAA-aligned video — and includes the same Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills work, process groups, and individual sessions, with psychiatric medication management folded in when it is part of the plan. It is available to California residents, which covers everyone living in Anaheim, and it is built for adults who need a genuine step up from weekly therapy but whose schedule or commute makes a nightly in-person trip unrealistic.
The fit with Anaheim is practical. The city's hospitality, retail, and service workforce keeps hours that rarely line up with a fixed clinic location, and the I-5 corridor between Anaheim and Laguna Hills is unforgiving at the wrong time of day; virtual care meets people where their evenings actually are. It is also a strong option for parents in a family-centered, majority-Latino community who want to stay close to home and keep family support in the picture — and where appropriate, we can discuss bilingual support so the program works for the household, not just the individual. Just as in our in-person groups, when substance use rides alongside a mental-health condition the same clinical team addresses the two as one picture — dual-diagnosis treatment handled together rather than split across separate providers.
Delivered over video, this is still scheduled outpatient care — not detox or residential treatment — and it is not the right starting point for someone who needs hands-on medical supervision or stabilization first; in those cases we coordinate a referral and move the person into virtual or in-person care once they are stable. The nearest hospital and emergency resource for Anaheim residents remains AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center on La Palma Avenue, and 911 is the right call in any emergency. Before starting, our team verifies your insurance benefits for free and confirms that your home setup — a private space and a reliable connection — supports confidential participation. If you start virtually and later prefer in-person groups, the program is the same one running out of Laguna Hills, so the transition is seamless.
Virtual IOP runs 3 evenings/week via secure video. The same IOP curriculum delivered via secure video for California residents. Manifest is an outpatient program — not a medical detox or residential facility; when supervised withdrawal is needed first, we coordinate a referral. Insurance verification is free and confidential, and no referral is required to begin.
Virtual IOP is part of a connected continuum of care. Many adults move between levels as their needs change — stepping up to Virtual IOP from weekly therapy, or stepping down to it after a more intensive level. You can read the full program details on our Virtual IOP page.
