Westminster · Virtual IOP
Virtual IOP is often the most practical level of care for Westminster residents: it delivers our full Intensive Outpatient curriculum over secure video, removing the roughly 29-minute I-405 commute to Laguna Hills entirely. Same clinicians, same evening groups, attended from home in the heart of Little Saigon.

Virtual IOP is the same IOP curriculum delivered via secure video for California residents. It runs 3 evenings/week via secure video, and is one of four levels of care we offer along a continuum from full-day PHP down to weekly aftercare.
Distance and daily life are the deciding factors here. A fixed in-person commitment is hard for an older resident who no longer drives the freeway comfortably, for the daughter managing a parent's appointments in a multigenerational home, and for the small-business owner who cannot close the shop on Bolsa for a round-trip to south county. Virtual IOP keeps the full clinical intensity while erasing the drive, and California licensure is satisfied because residents simply attend from within the state — which every Westminster resident does from home.
Westminster's large senior population is one of the clearest reasons Virtual IOP fits this city. Late-life depression, grief after the loss of a spouse, and the isolation that follows retirement are exactly the conditions that respond to consistent group and individual work — and transportation or mobility limits are often the single thing standing between an older adult and that care. Attending by secure video from the living room removes that barrier, and our psychiatric team manages medications with attention to the other prescriptions older adults commonly take.
For the working families who keep Little Saigon's economy running — restaurants, salons, jewelry shops, and professional offices along the Bolsa corridor — Virtual IOP means treatment no longer has to compete with a livelihood. A shop owner can attend the same evening sessions a Westminster neighbor would attend in person, without losing the hours a 58-minute round trip would cost. For multigenerational caregivers, attending from home means the people they care for are never left unattended to get help.
The same integrated dual-diagnosis programming we run on site is delivered through the video format too, so substance use and the depression or anxiety beneath it are worked on side by side rather than separately — which matters in households where alcohol use is sometimes the more permissible struggle to admit. We confirm at intake that telehealth is the right level of care for your situation, and we are honest when a higher-acuity picture would be better served by starting in person; for many Westminster residents, though, the video format is what finally makes consistent attendance possible.
Virtual IOP runs 3 evenings/week via secure video. The same IOP curriculum delivered via secure video for California residents. Manifest is an outpatient program — not a medical detox or residential facility; when supervised withdrawal is needed first, we coordinate a referral. Insurance verification is free and confidential, and no referral is required to begin.
Virtual IOP is part of a connected continuum of care. Many adults move between levels as their needs change — stepping up to Virtual IOP from weekly therapy, or stepping down to it after a more intensive level. You can read the full program details on our Virtual IOP page.
